Doctors Visit and Baby Sling

I took Brayden in to the doctor today for his 3 week checkup. I am happy to say that he is doing very well which is a huge relief to a slightly paranoid new mom like me. He already weighs 11 lbs. 3 oz.!! I was very surprised at how much he has gained in just a few weeks. He was in th 91% for his weight. He has also grown 2 inches and is now 23 inches long putting him in the 95% for his height. He is starting out a very big boy! No wonder he is growing out of his newborn and 0-3 months clothes. Overall, we are just happy that he is growing and that everything appears to be healthy. I am always worried if he is eating enough but I told Eric that I will try to stop worrying because apparently he is getting something in him:)

Today we also discoverd the baby sling. I have this carrier that I can wear and Brayden seemed to like it today. He just goes right to sleep on my chest while I was able to do the dishes, sweep, wipe down the bathroom, vaccuum, and think about starting dinner. That is more than I have gotten done all week in just a little while with him in the sling. I definitely think that we will be using this more often!

Easter

Even though Brayden is still too little to go to church I thought I would put him in a cute little Easter outfit. He was in this outfit for about 5 minutes before he spit up all over it. So much spit up that we could not wear that outfit anymore because it smelled like sour milk. So the next pictures are of the second easter outfit...good thing he has a lot of clothes! Also thanks mom for the cute easter basket you made for us and thanks Eric's mom for the ham and easter treats you sent up. It made for a great easter!

Oh Rise and Shout...

I thought I would try and get some pictures up of Brayden in his BYU cougar outfit in honor of the BYU basketball game today. The pictures did not make it up before the game and BYU lost but I think Brayden still looks like the cutest cougar fan I know. Eric bought this outfit all on his own the day after we found out that we were having a boy because he was so excited. Eric was also thrilled when I found a board book titled "My First Book about BYU."

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I thought this outfit was too cute to resist (the feet are my favorite part). I am just lucky that it still fits because he is almost too long for it already! Hope everyone has a happy St. Patty's Day!

Day 5 - Found the thumb!

So doctor said to give him tummy time so I put him down and normally he fusses, but he quit and we soon found out why...He also rolled over on his own! too bad we missed that one...
